Boys & Girls Freshman track athletes excel at Freshman State Meet 5/22/15

The Ypsilanti boys and girls track teams had a record-setting performance at the Freshmen state finals at Dundee high school Friday. Leading the way was Cherell Smith . 8 Grizzlies advance to the State Finals in Track 5/15/15

Baseball and Softball drop 2 to Lincoln 5/13/15

The Varsity Baseball and Softball teams both battled but got beat in respective double headers on Wednesday at Lincoln High School.  Softball struggled to get the bats going in game one losing 0-12 but hit the ball well in game two before losing 7-4.  Baseball really battled in game one until falling to the Railsplitters

Grizzlies have good showing at Lincoln in basketball

Both the boys and girls basketball teams traveled to Lincoln on Friday night (2/27/15) and brought home victories.  The girls game the result came a little easier with a dominating 59-28 victory or the Railsplitters.  It took two extra stanzas for the boys to get their victory coming home with a 65-57 double overtime win.

Ypsi Grizzlies lose in Team Districts

The young Ypsilanti wrestling team competed at Wayne Memorial for the MHSAA districts and unfortunately came up short against a very good and eventual District Champion Belleville team.  The Grizzlies had a lone bright spot for the night with Austin Listerman (160 pound) earning a 9-8 decision in the final bout of the semifinal match.
